Coronavirus Triplex PCR Now Offered at ISU VDL

We are pleased to announce that effective March 12th, 2018, the ISUVDL will implement a triplex PCR test for PEDV, PDCoV and TGEV.

This test will replace the current PEDV/PDCoV PCR assay.

Test performance between these assays have demonstrated to be comparable.

There will be no change in pricing associated with this new transition.

Standard pricing = $25 per test

Best Submission Practice Discount Pricing = $22.50 per test

Test requests for the PEDV/PDCoV PCR will be run with the new triplex assay and results will be reported for all 3 agents unless otherwise specified.
