Karen Durbin

Helping Others

Karen Durbin is perfectly suited for her new job in the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC). Her previous corporate experience prepared her for her current position of the LVMC’s client relations manager. “Helping others has always been a strong suit for me,” Durbin said. “I believe it has fit me well throughout my career.” In this role, she works with clients of both the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital and the Large Animal Hospital. Durbin answers clients’ questions about medical records, bills and “basically any client relations issue.” She communicates to all parties involved and problem solving to find the best solution. She uses each encounter as a learning opportunity for her team to learn and grow in their positions.
