TB or not TB

Carly Kanipe is intrigued by pathogens – so much so that her license plate reads “PATHOGN.” The graduate student in immunobiology and a 2016 DVM graduate is taking part in a research study looking into a novel Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex pathogen in of all things – mongooses in Botswana.
