Distinguished Service

Dr. Paul Anderson’s (’75) varied career has taken him from the halls of Iowa State to Minnesota where he worked in a small animal hospital, performed emergency and relief work for a dairy and equine practice, worked with a mixed animal practice, and was in a residency position with the University of Minnesota before he joined the Minnesota Board of Animal Health. His work there included eradicating pseudorabies from domestic swine herds, controlling Johne’s Disease, and regulating commercial dog and cat breeders. He was recently given the Distinguished Veterinary Service Award from the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association.
